But human nature in itself is imperfect, and to think you would be otherwise would be delusional or ignorant. That doesn't mean you can't be a good person most of the time. We all have our off days. Even "bad guys" think they're good guys, much of the time. Just one compromise after another. Humans are not always a pretty group.
